3 Things To Do With Your Anniversary Photos

Hands up if you love beautiful photos and not just a quick selfie…

I’m guessing it’s one of the reasons you’re here and reading this post. The reason we get photos taken with our loved ones is for us to remember them, in good times and bad, in all seasons of life, because marriage is worth celebrating! And yes it’s a reason we take selfies but those are not likely to ever leave the confines of your screen, am I right?

Picture it, you’ve had the session, and love all the images, obviously, but you’re not sure how to best show them off. Of course you can spam everyone with multiple Instagram or FB posts. (I’m happy for you to do that :)) but I truely believe you need to get them off the screen and into your life, IRL.

And here are my top 3 ways in which to do it:

Print Them

It’s so simple but so many people never actually do it. And the best part is that there a bunch of different options to suit everyones taste. You can have your photos framed or mounted on canvas. Big or small, one large photo or a whole photo wall.

My one piece of professional advice though: please get them printed at a professional lab or printer, like Atkins Lab (who I use). Printing your images at the Officeworks kiosk around the corner will not do justice to your images. They’ll fade faster, the paper is poor quality and the colours never look right.

Make a Personalised Calendar

Choose your favourite images and make them into a calendar which you can enjoy all year. Functional and pretty!

You can use a company like Vistaprint.

Make a Custom Phone Case

This is a fun one! Have your favourite photo made into a phone case, Photobox does it well and then every time you pick up your phone you’ll be reminded of your loved one!

And as an added bonus you could create a coffee table style photobook or album.

Now there are a bunch of companies that do this and my advice is, if it’s cheap its probably not going to be good quality. Use a professional lab like Atkins and pay a little more or use a company like Momento for a slightly cheaper option that is still good quality (I’ve had several books made by them in the past).
